[2016.03.11] AARON KWOK TURNS AWARD SHOW INTO A MINI CONCERT

The Hong Kong Film Directors' Guild annual banquet and award ceremony took place two nights ago. One of the guest performers Miriam Yeung Chin Wa performed SMALL TOWN BIG EVENT and REGRETTABLE I AM AN AQUARIUS. Earlier president Andrew Lau Wai Keung even led a group of directors, Aaron Kwok Fu Sing, Simon Yam Tat Wa and others in a rendition of BRILLIANT ROAD AHEAD.

After the performance, everyone asked Sing Sing to perform. The musician immediately played for Sing sing. Sing Sing after trying a few keys said, "It's the wrong key, why don't I sing acappella." Coincidentally his microphone was out of charge. The crew changes it for him. Sing Sing performed an acappella version of THE CALL OF LOVE, after which many called for an encore. Sing Sing joked, "This is the Directors' Guild, not a concert." He even suggested for president Lau Wai Keung to give a speech, but Lau Wai Keung joked, "I am upset, my movie lost to a little monkey (referring to Sing Sing's film THE MONKEY KING 2." Sing Sing replied that he had to make even more movies to be able to go to Africa.
