Martial art star Gordon Liu (Lau Ka Fai) two years ago became hemiplegic after suffering a stroke. Aside from his asset, he was also swept into a lawsuit over money with his former assistant. Luckily Lau Ka Fai's mood was not affected. He even actively accepted treatment. After over a year of recovery his condition has already vastly improved. Two days ago he even had tea at Central.

Lau Ka Fai two days ago around 5PM appeared in a restaurant at Central with several friends. In a wheel chair he wore a baseball cap and a red jacket and appeared to be in a a decent mood. A friend fed him wonton. He not only took big bites but also chatted with his friends. At the same time, Miriam Yeung Chin Wa and friends sat at the next table. When she discovered reporters taking photos, she waved and flashed a victory sign at the camera. Soon when Chin Wa was leaving she noticed Lau Ka Fai and greeted him. Chin Wa gave Master Lau a light pat on the shoulder and leaned over to whisper a few words. She even took out a photo to show him something, Master Lau smiled and nodded a few times. They chatted for about five minutes and Chin Wa bid him farewell.

Chin Wa later talked about running into Master Lau, "When I saw him I immediately greeted him. He was in great spirit and eating. I even showed him my son's photos. Master smiled and said, 'Wow, such a big kid.' I am really happy to see him in great spirit, I hope his health would improve more and more."
