[2013.12.03] NICK CHEUNG CLAIMS TO BE A MASTER BLADESMAN

Nick Cheung Ka Fai after the film UNBEATABLE (GIK JIN) had a new challenge with his Universe new film THE WHITE STORM (SO DUK). He stabbed himself in his hand in self mutilation to prove his loyalty. Director Benny Chan Muk Sing before the shoot personally demonstrated the fake knife stabbing angle. During the shoot Ka Fai stabbed his left hand without any hesitation. The Best Actor's acting of course was beyond any suspicion. With the matching blood syrup the scene was very bloody.

As soon as the director yelled cut he rushed to check, luckily Ka Fai was unharmed and even looked proud, "I am a master swordsman! How could I have any problem! Because I had to accommodate different angles, in the final we shot a few takes. They were pretty smooth." Aside from self mutilation, Ka Fai in the film also did not lack action and explosion scenes. He said that sometimes the amber would heat up his rear. "At my age, if I have to make these scenes again, physically I may not be able to handle it. Thus this time I did my best."
