Simon Yam Tat Wa, Deep Ng Ho Hong and director Derek Kwok Chi Kin's film AS THE LIGHT GOES OUT (GAU FOR YING HUNG)'s box office broke through 16.48 million. Yesterday they went to Tsim Sha Tsui for an audience appreciation event. Brother Wa revealed that his wife Qi Qi was moved to the tears after watching the film but also yelled at him. Brother Wa said, "She wants me to tell her in advance when I am making these types of movies, but I won't. I will always tell her after the completion."

Ng Ho Hong was very happy to receive compliments from Brother Wa about his film performance. He said that he has always admired Brother Wa a lot. After working together on the film he even saw this successful artist not only contributing for his performance but also adjust the order in his life, which left him in shame. He stated that he will imitate Brother Wa in the future and be a suitable artist.

Kwok Chi Kin was one of the directors on the film JOURNEY TO THE WEST: CONQUERING THE DEMON (SAI YAU GONG MOR PIN), the Hong Kong Film Award nomination application of which only listed Stephen Chow Sing Chi. Later the event added his name. Kwok Chi Kin said, "I don't mind, I would respect the decision of Mr. Chow's company. I believe that co-workers at Mr. Chow's company overlooked it. Actually Mr. Chow and I had no dispute when we worked together. Now we are still talking about the JOURNEY TO THE WEST sequel."
