At an event two nights ago, film company boss Raymond Wong Pak Ming was rather pleased when discussing the government's HK$ 1 billion allocation to assist the film industry productions. Earlier Sammo Hung Kam Bo pointed out that someone in the film industry was filling their own coffer, Wong Pak Ming believed that probably no one would be daring enough to pocket the government's money.

Film company boss Wong Pak Ming gleefully said about the government's HK$ 1 billion allocation for film industry productions, "Great, it's quite an improvement. Earlier it was only 300 million, now it is much, much more!" Hung Kam Bo earlier pointed out that despite the government financial assistance for the film industry, someone has been filling their own coffer. He responded, "I don't feel it's like that, and it probably wouldn't be. I have once an inspection council member for several years, when we looked at scripts we fairly and justly evaluated them. I just stopped in recent years, but I believed no one would be daring enough to pocket the government's money."

Due to the Mainland's "yin yang contract" and Fan Bingbing's tax evasion storm, most films have halted production. Has he been affected to reduce film production? He said that he has not been affected. Those in production would continue. Future releases will include LUCID DREAMS (BAK BO BOON HEI LO OI LOK), MASTER Z: THE IP MAN LEGACY (IP MAN OI JUEN CHEUNG TIN CHI) and next summer's IP MAN 4.

As for the prop master's prop currency management case appeal approval, Wong Pak Ming admitted that he supported the appeal. Now being able to get justice is also a good thing.

Jacquelin Chong Sze Man aside from on screen performance also invested in film production. Recently a project involving Mainland financing had a little problem and needed to be postponed, but the problem was being gradually resolved. She revealed that this year she seemed to have done little, next year her goal would be making more films or planning. Currently she had several scripts on hand, but her personal fund was limited. Thus she hoped to be able to work with other companies. Chong Sze Man pointed out that her investment this year MEN ON THE DRAGON (YIK LAU DAI SHOOK) had great word of mouth and box office, it even made a profit. The most important was for everyone to know that Hong Kong still had Hong Kong films with authentic Hong Kong flavor. Would MEN ON THE DRAGON make a sequel? She said the decision would be up to the director. Would she make WOMEN ON THE DRAGON (YIK LAU DAI SUM)? She said that girls might have a lot of difficulty with dragon boat racing, so it might be about another sport. If the project would go into production she would not mind playing an auntie.
