All Hong Kong cinemas will open on February 18th (the Lunar 7th, People's Day). The Dante Lam Chiu Yin directed, Eddie Peng Yu-Yan, Ian Wang, Xin Zhilei, Xu Yang, Carlos Chan Ka Lok starred film THE RESCUE (GUNG GUP GAU WOON) will also open next Thursday (the 25th) in Hong Kong. Director Lam Chiu Yin worked with Peng Yu-Yan for the fourth time together on THE RESCUE. Eddie revealed that as early as 2015 while shooting TO THE FORE (POR FUNG), the director already had the idea of making THE RESCUE. After 5 years of planning when the timing and the opportunity became mature, Eddie naturally and gladly returned to the team. He said, "Working with the director for the fourth time, our chemistry is great. The director's demands are even stricter. I really like his crazy requests because my demands on myself are also very strict. To be able to experience different professions, characters, I feel it's a lot of fun."
