Cecilia Cheung Pak Chi and Zhang Ziyi worked together on Korean director Hur Jin-Ho directed DANGEROUS LIAISONS and were rumored to be at odds over roles. They earlier participated in important events like film festivals mutually exclusively as they never appeared together. After three misses, the dispute rumors became white hot as their fans battled online.
DANGEROUS LIAISONS last night held a premiere in Beijing. Zhang Ziyi, Pak Chi and lead actor Jang Dong-Gun attended. They conducted their interviews in the afternoon, with Pak Chi alone, Zhang Ziyi alone, Pak Chi and Jang Dong-Gun together, but not Zhang Ziyi and Pak Chi. At the premiere at night, Pak Chi and Zhang Ziyi shared the stage but dressed like polar extremes. Pak Chi was dressed like the Black Swan while Zhang Ziyi was in white. They stood together and waved to the audience. When they appeared they suddenly faced each other and laughed.
Yesterday a photo of Pak Chi and her son Lucas with lion dancers appeared online. They appeared at a senior care Mid Autumn Festival party. Pak Chi was cultivating Lucas' interest in charity work.
