With the Taiwan Golden Horse Award reaching its 50th anniversary this year, four great directors of Hong Kong and Taiwan Johnnie To Kei Fung, Ang Lee, Hou Hsiao-Hsien and Tsai Ming-Laing will lead four events of this year's Golden Horse Award. Ang Lee has already been confirmed to be the jury president. Last year's Golden Horse Award Best Director To Kei Fung will be responsible for select the new blood of the film project that will win NT$ 1 million to make movies.
