[2013.09.03] CHOW YUN FAT RECEIVES HOLLYWOOD SUPERSTAR TREATMENT FOR HIS RETURN TO HONG KONG FILM

The Wong Jing directed Lunar New Year film FROM VEGAS TO MACAU (DOH SING FUNG WON) this week moved its production to Macau. The production team yesterday went to the famous Macau eatery Casa de Cha Long Wa to shoot Chow Yun Fat's scenes. The team provided Hollywood superstar level treatment to Fat Gor as he had several guards to escort him on and off the set. They even set all the lighting and positions before he arrived so he would not have to wait on th set.

The Wong Jing directed, Andrew Lau Wai Keung produced film FROM VEGAS TO MACAU yesterday booked the Case de Cha Long Wa for a location shoot. Many visitors saw the restaurant's shuttered gate and "closed" sign outside returned disappointed. Yesterday shooting in Casa de Cha Long Wa were mainly Fat Gor's scenes. Also present were Michael Wong Man Tak and Maria Cordero. Director Wong Jing arrived with Wong Man Tak around 1:30 PM. Around 2 PM, Fat Ma and her beloved protege Germano Guilherme (Ku Cheuk Man) also arrived.

Lead actor Fat Gor around 3:30 PM appeared iwth Fat Soh. When Fat Gor's vehicle arrived at the restaurant, 5 to 6 workers were ready to escort Fat Gor from th parking lot. Fat Gor looked surprised to see reporters.

As soon as Fat Gor went into the restaurant he immediately took his mark, completely without the usual position and lighting tests. The workers were probably ready before Fat Gor's arrival. Yesterday Fat Gor's scenes were more relaxed. He sat by the window and chatted with his co-star, then he took out a black and white photo to show him. Fat Ma greeted Fat Gor on camera.

The scene was completed by dusk. Director Wong Jing around 5:30 PM left first. Fat Gor and Fat Soh stepped out of the restaurant around 5:50 PM and the vehicle was already waiting for them at the door. Due to th sudden downpour, the crew held umbrellas for Fat Gor and Fat Soh. Several workers escorted them to the vehicle.

Always friendly, Fat Gor greeted reporters who braved the rain to cover the shoot and smiled and said to reporters that it was rainy and wet. Reporters asked the loyal TVB viewer Fat Gor if he saw the Miss Hong Kong pageant two nights ago, he said, "Because I had to get up early this morning, I only watched a little." Then he and Fat Soh boarded the vehicle, Lau Wai Keung also got in and left. Reporters discovered that the workers all had work permits around their necks with the film title and the dates from August 31 to September 6. Reportedly today the team will head to the Venetian Macao Resort Hotel swimming pool for a location shoot.

Yesterday Fat Gor reportedly paid a lot of attention to his return to Hong Kong film and went to Eddie Cheung Siu Fai's beauty center for treatment with Fat Soh. However he denied that he got treatment for the film. He even declined therapy that was against nature and instead taught the beautician that sleeping before 11 PM was the best way to care for his skin.
