The film TEN YEARS after winning the Hong Kong Film Award Best Film led to endless controversy. The film's producer Choi Lim Ming and director Chow Koon Wai two nights ago appeared on a cable program. They described that this film was the pebble that caused thousands of ripples. TEN YEARS was questioned as for worth the award with only a HK$ 500,000 budget. Choi Lim Ming said tha the film was never measured by its production cost. The team put in quite an effort and sincerity. He said "What is Best Film? Everyone's definition is different. We respect the rules of the contest and the game, I believe that the Hong Kong Film Award would not be fixed!" He also said that he produced TEN YEARS because he hoped that Hong Kong people would consider Hong Kong's future. The topics that the film triggered could continue that.

Would they make another film about the domestic life? He said that looking for actors was difficult. When they made TEN YEARS many actors turned them down due to the sensitive subject. Self censorship would affect future development.
