Johnnie To Kei Fung's police film DRUG WAR (DUK JIN) will be released in the Mainland in April. This film will be the 25th anniversary of directing police films since THE BIG HEAT (SING SI DUT GAING) in 1988. DRUG WAR will also be his 50th film as a director.
DRUG WAR will be his first film in the North. Earlier videos showed Sun Honglei testing drugs and Louis Koo Tin Lok's lethal injection execution. To Kei Fung said, "Drugs indeed is very poisonous, but in DRUG WAR, some things are 10,000 times more poisonous than it."
