Andrew Lau Wai Keung yesterday attended the bulthaup kitchen counter press conference. He has been cooking since he was little. When he worked with Sammo Hung Kam Bo and Eric Tsang Chi Wai, he took the time to learn cooking from them. His best dish was fried rice and was known for abalone. "Cooking abalone is very tough. When I first learned to (Philip) Chan Yun Kin criticized the abalone was like a eraser; after studying more now everyone praise it." Lau Wai Keung's birthday will be next Thursday, he as usual would celebrate with friends in the business.

Lau Wai Keung earlier attended a casting in New York for his foreign film. The cast has been set, as soon as the budget was approved it would start production. This year he will even producer the Wong Jing directed, Chow Yun Fat, Nicholas Tse Ting Fung starred gambling film that will shoot in Hong Kong, Macau and the U.S.
