Mainland director Xu Zheng with LOST IN THAILAND won the 2012 HIGHEST GROSSING ASIAN FILM award. He humorously said, "From the looks of yesterday's box office, JOURNEY TO THE WEST: CONQUERING THE DEMONS (SAI YAU GONG MOR PIN) is getting very close. I thank the event for giving me the award before my movie is surpassed. I always say don't look at a movie with its box office, making more good movies is the most important. Yet this award is a very important gift to the film company, one that viewers and filmmakers created together."
