After Gordon Liu (Lau Ka Fai)'s stroke, he rarely appeared in public. Yesterday reportedly his assistant and former guardian Eva held on to Lau Ka Fai's HK$1 million saving and refused to return it. Currently Fan Yik Man is Lau Ka Fai's guardian. Fan yesterday said that Eva was no longer Lau Ka Fai's guardian as of December last year and that it was Lau Ka Fai's wish. She said, "Everything of Lau Ka Fai Ms. Fung should return, whether it was a photo or other personal items." Fan Yik Man even pointed out that Ms. Fung said that she would wait until Lau Ka Fai recovers before returning it. She felt that the term "recovery" had different standards with everyone. Lau Ka Fai reportedly only asked her to temporary keep an eye on it, it was not up to Ms. Fung to state the condition of return. Now the owner wants her to return it. She again reiterated that she is Lau Ka Fai's official guardian.
