Former Miss Hong Kong candidate Connie Man Hoi Ling stepped foot into the film industry. Earlier she guest starred in the Shaw Lunar New Year film I LOVE HONG KONG 2013 (2013 NGOR OI HK GUNG HEI FAT CHOI) and had scenes with leads Alan Tam Wing Lun and Eric Tsang Chi Wai. She praised the two elders for how easy going they were, they even took the initiative to chat with her and came up a very long and funny dialogue. "They took the initiative and picked my brain to come up with a dialogue, finally the result that we jammed out was great. We were surprised at how great my memory was. Although this part was finally cut out, it was a memorable experience!"
In another scene, because an actress did not appear and the team needed an actor, Connie called her sister to help out. Did she want her sister to join the business? She said, "No, I just wanted her to have a little fun! During the Lunar New Year when we went to the movies, the family saw us on camera and thought it was very cute!"
