Focusing on police films in recent years, Nick Cheung Ka Fai finally had a chance to pick up romance again. He and Sammi Cheng Sau Man worked together on the Cheuk Wan Chi directed new film TEMPORARY FAMILY (SUT LUEN GUP YEUNG) and played a couple. Earlier they shot a romantic scene at a country park. Cheung Ka Fai and Sammi improvised and danced a popular dance from Korea. Although Ka Fai did not dance well, he still worked very hard to coordinate with Sammi.
With the rare chance to play a romantic comedy, Cheung Ka Fai joked that finally he was able to relax and release some laugh energy to soothe everyone's mood. Although he had to wait until he was a father to have a chance to make a romantic film, it was still better than all the fighting and killing. He was the happiest about not having to diet, fight or fire a gun. During the shoot he even had a rush of inspiration as he injected a lot of humorous lines.
As for Sammi she ran around in 6 inch high heels everyday during the shoot. Only when she shot at the country park she was able to wear sneakers, finally she was able to relax. When asked if Ka Fai performed his romantic scenes appropriately, she said to say Ka Fai's wife. She instead liked to play the argument scenes with him.
