The Terrance Lau and Cecilia Choi starred BEYOND THE DREAM is the Movie6 Movie Awards big winner

The 4th Movie6 Movie Award Election yesterday announced its winners. The Kiwi Chow Koon Wai directed film BEYOND THE DREAM (WAN OI) won 5 awards to become the big winner, including Best Film, Best Director, Best Film Poster, Best Actor Terrance Lau Chun Him and Best Actress Cecilia Choi Sze Wan. Cheung Tat Ming and Nina Paw Hee Ching with I'M LIVIN' IT (MAK LO YUN) won Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress. Chow Koon Wai thanked the audience for their love and encouragement, which were the motivation for their next film. Lau Chun Him and Choi Sze Wan were happy to receive the recognition. Lau Chun Him said that he would keep working hard and sincerely share stories.

The Hong Kong Movie organized the 4th Movie6 Movie Awards Election started accepting votes last month. Yesterday the results were announced online. BEYOND THE DREAM (WAN OI) took 5 out of 7 awards, including Best Film, Best Film Poster, Best Director Kiwi Chow Koon Wai, Best Actor Terrance Lau Chun Him and Best Actress Cecilia Choi Sze Wan, Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress went to I'M LIVIN' IT (MAK LO YUN)'s Cheung Tat Ming and Nina Paw Hee Ching.

BEYOND THE DREAM's director and screenwriter Chow Koon Wai said, "I represent the BEYOND THE DREAM team sincerely thank the audience for their love and encouragement. They are the motivation for our next film, let's go together!" Producer Choi Lim Ming thanked each voting viewer for their support, which truly was invaluable. These 5 awards were very encouraging to the entire BEYOND THE DREAM team, they would continue to work hard and make movies that belong to Hong Kong, hope everyone would go to the movies to support Hong Kong films more and continue to create miracles. Producer and screen writer Tsang Chun Wing also was happy that Hong Kong viewers still have not forgotten BEYOND THE DREAM. They were very thankful and looked forward to having a new film for everyone.

Lau Chun Him felt that BEYOND THE DREAM's numerous awards were tremendous recognition for them. He said, "During this difficult time, I deeply sensed that relationship of keeping each other company between BEYOND THE DREAM and the audience. Maybe it doesn't actually change anything, but 'being understood, being heard' became the smallest comfort this film provided to the audience. I hope as an actor to be able to keep working hard, sincerely share a story, experience and grow with the audience. I again think your support for BEYOND THE DREAM and myself." Choi Sze Wan thanked each voter who supported BEYOND THE DREAM. She was also very happy to receive the Best Actress award from an election, which was an enormous recognition.
