The Stanley Kwan Kam Peng directed new film YUNG SUM TIU will start production at the end of the month. Yesterday a press conference was held in Beijing. This film will feature students from the Shanghai Drama Academy and cost 10 million yuan. However, he called in a lot of favors as well as he landed William Cheung Suk Ping and Christopher Doyle(To Ho Fung) to be the art director and the cinematographer. He also invited guest stars like Hu Jun and Carina Lau Ka Ling. No matter Ah Kwan joked that his friendship card has been overdrawn.

Although the film budget was not high, he still was able to invite Hu Jun, Lau Ka Ling, Huang Lei, Dong Dawei and others to add. They all only took a little Laisee for their assistance. Kwan Kam Peng expressed that money to them was not important but the meaning of their participation was. He joked that his friendship card has been overdrawn but it was worth it. The film had a very important theme of passing the torch. The collaboration of big stars like Lau Ka Ling and Hu Jun with new comers would be another passing of the torch.
