Leon Lai Ming might be 43, but two nights ago for a promotional film he still gave his all. Not only did he appear full of facial hair but also ran 400 meters on the busy Tsim Sha Tsui streets. The police had to maintain order. After five runs, Leon was out of breath.

Although Leon has been busy with his concert preparations, two nights ago he still worked on a promotional short film for director Dante Lam Chiu Yin. The 43 year old Lai Ming got his all. Not only did he give up his past handsome image and appeared with a sloppy beard, he also had to run several blocks.

Around 8 he was already at the location. He and Lam Chiu Yin chatted nonstop then studied the road conditions with the crew and Chin Kar Lok.

Soon Lai Ming was in position. Playing a cop Lai Ming was chasing a thief and ran from Harbor City on Canton Road through Haiphong Road to Humphrey's Avenue, the entire run was about 400 meters. After Lai Ming finished he was already trying to catch his breath. Yet for the best result, Lam Chiu Yin repeatedly asked Lai Ming to run again. Leon later ran in the rain. After five times, Lam Chiu Yin finally wrapped up the shoot.

Lam Chiu Yin said, "Because that night we had to shoot Leon's runin one take, the length of the run was 400 some meters. Leon as early as two months ago already started training in preparation. Even I ran it before hand." He even revealed that for this "midnight run" he applied for a road block over a month ago and was permitted to do for a hour. The shoot cost 400,000.
