Wylie Chiu Shek Chi in recent years has been making new attempts in the film industry. Last year she worked on the Wu Wai Sing directed, Best Actress Kara Wai Ying Hung, Victor Chen Si Hon and others starred film WINTER IS HOPED (DUNG LUEN MONG YUT). In the film she played a moody character that was quite a challenge to her acting. Recently the film was selected for a Las Vegas film festival. Wylie said, "Yesterday I received the news from the director. I was really happy. The director put a lot of effort into making it. As one of its actors I am very proud. Even if in the end it doesn't win, I would still feel very honored."
