The 38th Hong Kong Film Awards will take place on the 14th next month. The event yesterday released a promotional short film HOW TO FACE DAYS WITHOUT THE HONG KONG FILM AWARDS. As the short film opened, Louis Cheung Kai Chung said that he caught wind this year would not have a Hong Kong Film Award. Aaron Kwok Fu Sing and Sandra Ng Kwan Yu were both surprised. This year's nominees including Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin, Ben Yuen Fu Wa, Jennifer Yu Heung Yi, Catherine Chau Ka Yi all went to the office to get an understanding and even set up camp outside to protest! Inside the office Michelle Wai Sze Nga said that last year the opening performance went over budget. Cheung Kai Chung even revealed that it was because MC Jin and Ah Sa's make up and hair cost too much. The film then left the story open ended!
