Director Kiwi Chow Koon Wai yesterday attended the film TEN YEARS' screening at the Wanchai Art Center. He said that each time he watched the part he directed in the film he had a different experience, the most memorable was early August last year a Tuen Mun screening ran into a protest. Some protestors came to see the movie. He said, "That night when I watched TEN YEARS again, the future the movie talked about and I didn't want to see actually appeared in reality. I was very heartbroken." He revealed that he planned to make a social movement movie. Due to the sensitive subject, he expected that it would not have any theatrical release. Thus its production budget would not be too much, finding investors would also have certain difficulties. Some said that he could first make commercial films to make some money then self finance the production. He said, "That's why I made BEYOND THE DREAM (OI WAN)."
