Famous screen writer Ng Hou (originally named Ng Chun Bong) passed away in the middle of last month. Yesterday his funeral took place. His remains were transported to the Diamond Hill Crematorium for cremation. Ho Lai Chuen, Pang Chai Choi, Stephen Shin Gei Yin, Cheuk Pak Tong, Law Kar and other friends were his pallbearers.

Ho Lai Chuen yesterday morning helped at the scene. Ng Hou's coffin had fresh flowers on it. After the ceremony, Ng Hou's widow Wong Ka Wai carried the photo to the hearse that then departed for the crematorium. She appeared to be in sorrow. A member of the funeral committee said, "Hou Sir's ceremony was not religious. Mrs. Ng has been busy with her late husband's affairs and memorial event. She is already calm."
