The Lunar New Year film TRIUMPH IN THE SKIES (CHUNG SEUNG WON SIU) last night held a premiere at the Kowloon Bay International Trade and Exhibition Center. Aside from actors Louis Koo Tin Lok, Francis Ng Chun Yu, Sammi Cheng Sau Man, Charmaine Sheh Si Man, Julian Cheung Chi Lam, Amber Kuo, Kenneth Ma Kwok Ming and Elena Kong Mei Yee, TVB also sent artists like Jacqueline Wong Sum Wing, Grace Wong Kwan Hing, Christine Kuo, Eliza Sam Lai Heung, Samantha Ko Hoi Ning and Sisley Choi Si Bui.

Goo Jai attended in a pilot uniform. Host Paisley Wu Pui Wai originally wanted to called Cheung Chi Lam a "bird without legs" but instead saying "legs with bird". The mischievous Chi Lam immediately took a glance at his crotch and joked, "You would know something that secret?". The on screen pair Chi Lam and Amber Kuo arrived together. He said that this time he will play host, take her to have hot pot casserole and ditch his wife Anita Yuen Wing Yi. Every time Chi Lam asked her to dinner she would be either too ill or too tired. Amber Kuo said that actually they all had dinner together, but in the end Goo Jai paid. Chi Lam said that earlier when he and Goo Jai promoted in Beijing, Goo Jai suggested a sequel but for the three lead actors to direct. The suggestion was great and he was very interested, as in the past he has only directed a music video. As for how much would the film have to make at the box office for a sequel to happen? Chi Lam said HK$ 40 million would be the best.

Goo Jai was asked if he would truly make a sequel if the film would reach 40 million. He said that he could, if the film would become a big hit he could pilot a plane to take everyone on vacation. Ah Sheh joked that she would be the flight attendant. Goo Jai this year would have three Lunar New Year films, TRIUMPH IN THE SKIES, 12 GOLDEN DUCKS (12 GUM NGAP) and AN INSPECTOR CALLS (FAU WA YIN). He would like for every film to make over 40 million.

As for Goo Jai's directing suggestion, Chun Yu said that he enjoyed being an actor more and said that Goo Jai was only joking. Yet when Sammi learned that Goo Jai suggested a character mix up, she was reluctant because her relationship with Sam Gor just started. It would be very hard to continue with a mix up. Chun Yu joked, "I think the audience isn't tired of us yet. As two men they of course want to, maybe they feel they haven't had enough passion they want to personally direct. With so many passionate bathing scenes, they can muster up the courage to keep the passion going."
