Sandra Ng Kwan Yu, Anthony Wong Chau Sun, Fiona Sit Hoi Kei, Matthew Chow Hoi Kwong last night attended their Lunar New Year film 12 GOLDEN DUCKS (12 GUM NGAP)'s premiere. Today is Valentine's Day. Kwan Yu's boyfriend Peter Chan Ho Sun came to cheer on Kwan Yu. He tried to fly a drone helicopter but was a little bit awkward. Kwan Yu had to put in a lot of effort to be able to grab the helicopter. Actually Chan Ho Sun prepared a 12 karat giant diamond ring for Kwan Yu, who was very surprised and touched. She could not put on the diamond ring fast enough. He said, "This is only a Valentine's Day present, I wish you will be able to perform well at the box office to make back the price of this diamond ring!" Kwan Yu was teary eyed.
Fiona revealed that last time in GOLDEN CHICKENSSS (GUM GAI SSS) she played a "mamasan" to the prostitutes. This time she played a client, an office worker who had to release her stress from work. Thus she asked for ducks to role play and had a little violent behavior. She said, "(The role) is mainly comedic, no sexy or nude scene. I haven't tried it in real life, the first time was in the film." Did she invite Jaycee Chan (Fong Cho Ming) to watch the film? She said, "Tonight I will watch with Mommy, then I will be recording everyday, even on Valentine's Day. However I believe he will support (the film), because many of his friends performed in it. (Have you called Cho Ming after his prison release?) Not yet, he just got out. Give him some time to be with the family that is the most important to him. No one is more important than family. Of course I will pay attention to tomorrow's press conference, but I won't talk about the details."
In addition, Ng Kwan Yu, DaDa Chan Jing, Wilfred Lau Ho Lung (Si Hing), Choi Hong Yik (BabyJohn) and Philip Keung Ho Man (Hak Jai) yesterday afternoon appeared at the Victoria Park Lunar New Year Fair stall to sell lucky bags and HK$388 limited edition boxers and ticket coupons. Kwan Yu, Si Hing, BabyJohn and Hak Jai even put on the boxers to be living advertisement. Kwan Yu's father Ha Chun Chau was responsible for observing the giant lottery drawing.
Kwan Yu praised Lam Siu Ha, who played Brenda in the film LOVE IN THE BUFF (CHUN CHIU YU JI MING) for her extreme good sense of comedy. Thus she planned to make her the new generation successor. She said, "Hong Kong has very few comedy stars. (Ivana) Wong Yuen Chi and (Michelle) Lo Mik Suet have already succeeded. Lam Siu Ha has made several films already, but she seems to have a full time job." Kwan Yu also said that the film needed of a lot of female clients for the gigolos, thus her assistants and secretaries all guest starred. DaDa in the film ran into her former boyfriend Lau Ho Lung at the duck shop. She said, "This is I haven't had enough fun! I hope to be able to play a duck along with Kwan Yu because she has made huge sacrifices. Everyday she spent a long time in make up. I have to make her a 'god'."
Speaking of Valentine Day, DaDa said that her long distance relationship with her Shanghai companion has gone up in smoke. Now they have little contact and they have never dated. She said, "For now I won't consider love. So far I am not interested in anyone, and I have no date for Valentine's Day."
In addition, Si Hing revealed that on Valentine's Day he had to work and would not be able to be with his girlfriend Joey Yung Cho Yi. Speaking of Joey supporting him online and telling people to watch his film over and over, Si Hing sweetly smiled and said that was expected because Joey was also in the film. Joey posed a diamond ring photo online and said it was not hers. Si Hing said, "I know, it's not from me. (Whose is it?) As long as it's not from another man then it's fine."
