Recently the Hong Kong film market begins to stir, as several films in a row begin production. Many film companies also with the Hong Kong Filmart promoted their yet to be released films. The online discussion about "the Most Anticipated Hong Kong film" also rose. Having longed to work with Chow Yun Fat since the start of her career, Anita Yuen Wing Yi after 29 years finally got her chance with BE WATER, MY FRIEND (GUONG FAI SHUI YUET, Mainland title GIU YEUNG SHUI YUET).

BE released two posters. In the film Fat Gor promised to temporarily take care of his old flame's son. As the "father and son" relationship grew, the old flame was rumored to have passed away from illness. Due to the resemblance to his representative film ALL ABOUT AH LONG (AH LONG DIK GOO SI), the film has been called the extension of that film. In addition Fat Gor was injured during the shoot, which made viewers even more concerned. The film began production around 2 years ago, so far it still has not been released. The reason has become a mystery but the film company prohibited any leak from the cast and the crew. During the shoot, Len Len once said, "I am very happy, as an actor who can work with Fat Gor I really am very lucky. I finally can stop waiting! I really cherish it, his passion and way of life has influenced me a lot. I feel lately I have become more easy going!"

In addition, the Francis Ng Chun Yu and Loletta Lee Lai Chun starred DRIFTING (JOOK SHUI PIU LAU) recently released its trailer. The Sham Shui Po homeless man Chun Yu and Sister Chu on a ferry discussed Hong Kong real estate development. The former kept breaking out in foul language to air his displeasure, conceivably many in Hong Kong would be able to relate.

Wong Jing directed I CORRUPT ALL COPS (GUM CHIN DAI GOK) 12 years ago, which began its sequel production in a low key manner. The cast would include Louis Koo Tin Lok, Tony Leung Ka Fai, Francis Ng Chun Yu and Gordon Lam Ka Tung.
